You use general settings to setup
multiDesk and to perform miscellaneous actions. It looks like the
follwoing:

- load multiDesk when Windows
starts - Checking this box and pressing the OK button will add
multiDesk shortcut to your Windows Start Up folder. You can remove
it by simply unchecking this box and pressing the OK button, or
delete the icon from the Start Up folder.
- enable sound - if this box is
checked, multiDesk will make a sliding sound whenever you switch
between desktops. Cool !!
- how many desktops would you
like to have - you can determine how many desktops to have (must be
between 2 and 9). The recommended number is around three.
- rescue Windows - this is the
button that I have never used yet (except for testing purpose). It
will bring back all the windows that have been hidden onto the
current desktop. (please email me if anybody ever gets to use this
button)
- quit multiDesk - quits
multiDesk and bring back all the hidden windows.
- REMEMBER to press OK for your
settings to take effect.
