Even a compact application like multiDesk requires the involvement of many people.

Software Design and Coding

  • John F. Liu - Software Architect
C++, OOP, Windows API, OS, TCP/IP, RDB, CGI
Yes, I wrote this application by myself again. Because it is an utility application, it does not make sense to make it into a group project. The program is not too big, but it still took me many weeks of sleep deprivation.

Web Site Design

  • Arun J. Rao - Chief Designer
    MCSE, ECE, JavaScript, PhotoDraw
Arun is the chief designer for various websites and companies. I am very grateful that he took some time off his busy schedule to design the support website for me.

In-house Testing

  • Anush Ramani
  • Praveen Chowdhary
  • Joe Liang
Good friends and colleagues. I simply cannot run Windows 2000, Windows 98 and Windows Millenium at the same time.

Many people have made suggestions and given me feedbacks on multiDesk. I really appreciated all those emails, and I hope I have answered all your questions properly. Some of the users have been especially helpful, and I would like to thank them here:

  • Heiner Amthauer
  • Andres (don't know last name)
  • Daniel Pierret
  • Réza Tahami
  • Andreas Mohr
  • Jeff Squires
  • Marco Viganò
  • Matt Linder
  • Mike Anderson
  • Haug Bürger

** Special Thanks to Alan Rickayzen and Marc Turcotte for pointing out a bug multiDesk was having with autoexec.bat. It prevented many headaches.

And here is a testimonial from Caprez Thomas ;-)
